“Your life is yours and you need to make the best of it.”

One of our most shared human experiences is that life will throw us down a perilous pit, till we realise that the most important work of our lives is to become the best servants of Allah (swt) that we can be.

When it was my turn and I had a “Why Me” moment, I remember saying, “If only I could go back and do things differently, I would have made a world of difference.”

But there is no going back, we can only move forward. We take the life changing lessons we learned from our past with us. More important is what we do with those memories and those lessons learned.

It’s never too late to be what you might have been. You can still have the life you always wanted. It’s as simple as starting with yourself, learning who you are and showing up as the best version of yourself.

Authentic self-discovery takes courage and tenacity, as was the primary mission of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to instil good character in every aspect of the lives of people… “I have been sent to perfect good character.” (al-Muwaṭṭa 1614)

I’m Zulf Shah (aka Abu Amarah)

For over a decade, I have dedicated my studies to spiritual afflictions and earned certified life coaching skills. Through mentoring and coaching, I am now helping people learn how to manage their lives better. My aim is to provide guidance on how to develop self-awareness and gain insight into the root causes of our issues in order to live a more fulfilling life. My approach combines spiritual wisdom with practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.

Why did I become a Coach?

Over the years I have learned that spiritual afflictions alone are not the main cause of dissension or disharmony among couples, families, and individuals. Although many cases were ruqya related, later, findings verified that most issues were deep rooted in behavioural patterns (assimilation).

Unless we’re honest with ourselves and acknowledge that our learned behaviours are an assimilation from our childhood, we’re stuck repeating the same old patterns.

The only way of moving forward is self-acceptance, taking the lessons in life and letting go of your past.

Fulfilment is closer than you think when you know where to look!
